House rules

§ 1. General provisions

1. These rules govern bookings and stays at the Puerto Tenczynek cabins at Ogrodowa 45A in Tenczynek.
2. Making a booking means that these rules have been read and accepted by everyone staying at the property.
3. The property consists of four cabins and shared areas: the garden, pool, hot tub, barbecue and fire pit area, and the car park.

§ 2. Booking and payment

1. Bookings are made by phone, by email or through the form on this site.
2. A booking is confirmed once a deposit of — % of the total price has been paid, within — days of receiving the transfer details.
3. The Guest pays the remaining balance no later than on the day of arrival, by transfer or in cash.
4. The minimum stay is two nights; on selected dates it may be longer.

§ 3. Cancellation

1. A booking may be cancelled in writing or by email.
2. If cancelled up to — days before arrival, — % of the deposit is refunded.
3. In the case of later cancellation or a no-show, the deposit is not refunded.
4. Cutting a stay short does not entitle the Guest to a refund for unused nights.

§ 4. Check-in and check-out

1. The stay day begins at 3 pm and ends at 11 am the following day.
2. Earlier arrival or later departure is possible by arrangement with the owner, provided it does not clash with another booking.
3. The number of people staying in a cabin may not exceed the number agreed in the booking. Anyone not included in the booking requires the owner's consent.
4. Proof of identity may be required at check-in.

§ 5. Pool, hot tub and garden

1. The pool and hot tub are not supervised by a lifeguard. They are used at your own risk.
2. Children may use the pool and hot tub only under constant adult supervision.
3. Entering the pool after drinking alcohol, jumping into the water and bringing glassware into the pool area are prohibited.
4. The pool is available during the summer season; opening dates depend on the weather.
5. The barbecue and fire pit may only be used in the designated places and must never be left unattended.

§ 6. Quiet hours, smoking and pets

1. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am.
2. Smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited inside the cabins; smoking is permitted outdoors only.
3. Pets are accepted at no extra charge. The keeper is responsible for the animal's behaviour, cleans up after it and does not leave it alone in the cabin.
4. Holding a party requires the owner's prior consent; this also applies when the whole property is rented.

§ 7. Liability

1. The Guest is financially liable for damage caused in the cabin and in the shared areas by themselves and by the people staying with them.
2. Any faults or damage must be reported to the owner as soon as they are noticed.
3. The owner may take a refundable security deposit of — PLN, settled on the day of departure.
4. The owner is not liable for belongings left unattended on the property, nor for events beyond their control, including interruptions to utilities.
5. The car park is unsupervised.

§ 8. Complaints and final provisions

1. Complaints may be submitted by email to the address given on the Contact page. We respond within 14 days.
2. Matters not covered by these rules are governed by Polish law.
3. A serious breach of these rules may be grounds for terminating the agreement without a refund for the unused part of the stay.
